The 9th season does not stop and last night we repeated the union of Orfeón Donostiarra and ADDA Simfònica Alicante, one of last year's successes. Under the direction of Josep Vicent, they performed two great works that did not leave the audience at the Palau de la Música indifferent.
The ‘Suite no. 2 of Daphnis et Chloé’ by Maurice Ravel inaugurated a night that already predicted it would be very special. The stage looked majestic with the arrival of all the members of the Orfeón Donostiarra. Josep Vicent and ADDA Simfònica Alicante once again demonstrated their rapport, together for almost ten years.
The most anticipated moment of the concert came in the second part. A performance of 'Carmina Burana' by Carl Orff full of energy in which it is worth highlighting the three vocal promises: Sabrina Gárdez, Milan Perišić and Rafael Quirant. After long applause and people standing, Vicent made the audience vibrate and move by repeating the 'O Fortuna' part of the same work in the encore, inciting them to sing and applaud.
