Last night, the centenary Orquestra de la Suisse Romande visited us with an exquisite orchestral program. With a deployment of more than 100 musicians on the stage of the Palau de la Música, the arrival of conductor Jonathan Nott already filled the room with applause.

'Clair de lune' by Debussy, the third movement of the 'Suite Bergamasque', a piano marvel adapted for orchestra, which in just six minutes already captivated the audience.

The bassoon solo that marks the beginning of the 'Rite of Spring' already augured the high point of the night: Stravinsky's most controversial piece, full of complexity and rhythms. With great precision, Nott and the OSR demonstrated their mastery of this monumental work.

In the second part, the long-awaited appearance of Midori. The renowned violinist with extensive experience on all stages of the world, performed Sibelius' 'Violin Concerto'. This creation, one of the most beautiful of the author, moved and moved, especially in its second movement.

The violinist wanted to thank the audience for the long applause with Bach's 'Prelude to Partita No. 3'.
