Pianist Lluïsa Espigolé and mezzo-soprano Helena Ressurreição were responsible for performing a program that also included the presence of Franz Schubert.
Under the title 'Beyond Presence,' it was a fascinating concert with several premieres, both national and worldwide. 'De profundidad para piano' opened the night, followed by a transition with a short vocal solo. Next, 'Winterreise, Die Nebensonnen, No. 23 for voice and piano' by Franz Schubert was presented, followed by Shadow Scenes (from the opera Shadow) for voice and piano' by Giménez Comas, a world premiere.
'Die Stadt' for voice and piano, along with chords from 'Der Hirt auf dem Felsen' (a small improvised moment) by the Austrian composer, followed in the repertoire, concluding with another national premiere by the Catalan composer, 'The Second Coming for voice, piano, and electronics.
