Júlia Gállego studied flute at the Óscar Esplá Conservatory in Alicante, at the Conservatoire Héctor Berlioz in Paris and at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris, with teachers Alain Marion, Raymond Guiot, Sophie Cherrier and Vincent Lucas. She has been a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Spain (1992-1996) and the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester (1997-2001), and solo flute with the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra (1997-1999) and the Symphony Orchestra of Galicia (2001-2002). Her appearances with the Orquestra de Cadaqués, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, the HR Frankfurt, the BR München, and the Rotterdams Philharmonisch should also be highlighted, while working with conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Daniel Harding, Pierre Boulez, Mariss Jansons, Frans Brüggen and Seiji Ozawa.
